Bans, Restrictions, and Appeals

Respectful, fair play is a core component of competitive games. That's why when a player crosses one of the lines set out in our Terms of Service (Part 7), we take steps to discourage repeat offenses with restrictions, suspensions, and even permanent bans.

League of Legends

Our Code of Conduct sets out clear expectations for all players. Stray from the righteous path at your own risk.

Reporting a Player

While the process varies from game to game, there are generally two ways to report a player:

In Game

  • Select the Report Controls (usually marked with a '!' symbol) next to a player's name
  • Fill in all the details you can and submit

Post-Match

  • Go to your Profile
  • Enter Match History
  • Find the match with the player in question
  • Use the Report Controls (usually marked with a '!' symbol) to start a Report
  • Fill in all the details you can and submit

Report Players In-Game

In-game reports are the fastest, easiest way to flag bad behavior. Just fill out the fields and leave the rest to us.
