You've long been able to share weapons in-game, but now you can give your friends gear they'll keep forever with gifting!
VALORANT Gifting Requirements and Limits
Before you go raining gifts upon all your friends, there are a few things you should know about who can give (gifter!) and receive (giftee!) gifts:
- The gifter's VALORANT account must be at least level 15.
- Both gifter and giftee must be friends for at least one week and cannot be serving a long or permanent ban.
- You can send a limit of ten gifts per day.
- You can't send content a giftee already owns.
- You can't send VP from your current VP balance.
- VP gifting is only available on PC.
In addition, both players (sender and receiver) must be on the same game Shard (for example, a player in Canada and another in the US can send gifts to each other as both are in the NA Shard). In simple terms:

That being said, gifting is a bit more limited for the following regions (geographical locations, not Shards!):

What Kind of Gifts Can You Send in VALORANT?
You're currently able to buy featured store bundles, individual items within those bundles, and Esport bundles (as-is, no individual purchases) for your friends. And don't worry if they already own some of the content—the price will be modified so you're only buying what they don't have.
What about gifting other content?

How to Send Bundle-Related Gifts in VALORANT
- Navigate to the Store.
- Find the item you want to gift in the Featured Store Bundles or Esports Tab.
- Select the GIFT button in the lower right corner.
- Choose a Recipient. (Don't forget the rules above!)
- Choose the specific item you want to gift and select NEXT.
- Confirm the price on the next page, then select PURCHASE.
- It's in the mail!
After a Gift is Sent
Once you've sent a gift, what happens next is up to your friend. They can…
- ACCEPT the gift and enjoy their sweet new gear.
- REJECT the gift to issue a refund to the gifter's account.
- DO NOTHING FOR 60 DAYS, after which the purchase is refunded to the gifter's account. Grab it or lose it!
If you're curious whether or not your gift has been accepted yet, you'll have to reach out to your receiving friend for confirmation.
How to send VP gifts
- Navigate to the VP purchase page.

Choose the "Gift"
icon next to the VP bundle you wish to purchase

Choose a Recipient. Make sure they fulfill all the rules above!

Confirm the recipient and the VP value that you wish to send and select NEXT.

Choose your payment method or enter new information if necessary, then confirm your payment.
- CONGRATS! You sent your friend some VP, which they'll receive immediately!
Can I get a refund for a gift that's already been accepted?
Bundle Gifts cannot be refunded. (Unless required by region)
VP Gifts may be refundable under certain circumstances. If you feel you have a strong case, send us a ticket and we'll look into it.
