Cannot update and launch VALORANT

If you are unable to update VALORANT (it’s stuck at 0% Download), it might be due to your antivirus software–which is fine, but something clashed with our latest patch. 

If you are running antivirus software and are unable to update VALORANT, as a workaround, you can temporarily enable Passive Mode (at your own risk!) to update VALORANT: 

To temporarily enable Passive Mode: 

  1. Enable Passive Mode:

  2. Update VALORANT
  3. Disable Passive Mode
    • Do so by clearing the Passive Mode setting from step 1 above. 

If you are not running Avast or AVG Antivirus software and are still experiencing this issue, please let us know
